tekerd! is a group of students from Wesselényi Miklós Technical Secondary School and Student's Hostel of Nyíregyháza Center of Vocational Training in Nyíregyháza, Hungary, engaged in mosaic projects using LEGO® bricks. Our connection began during the Talent Awards 2021, a project I started at MOME, where Zsolt, the mentor teacher of the group, served as a jury member. Recognizing our similar worldview and desire to make our Planet a better place, we started collaborating. See our collaboration below!

Built as part of tekerd!'s Diversity project in Csányi utca, Budapest, Hungary. Currently displayed in Gólem Theatre
In the Palm House (Óriások csarnoka) of the Budapest Zoo & Botanical Garden, you can see four 1.5x1.5 meter photorealistic mosaics created by tekerd!. These mosaics are exclusively based on the photographs of Vincze Adrienn, official photographer and educator for National Geographic and recipient of numerous international awards. My company developed the augmented reality application associated with the mosaics, and I served as the art director for it. See our follow-up video below!
For a Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, Budapest exhibition, PictoryTale created an AR experience enhancing four impressive LEGO® mosaic portraits of composers, crafted by tekerd!. Our application brought these composers to life in the AR space with interactive 3D models. This successful collaboration involved Zeneakadémia, PictoryTale AS, LEGO®, Tekerd, Színház Média Kft. (MEXLAB), and AV PRO Kft., demonstrating the potential for innovative storytelling through art and technology. Art direction and project management by me.
